Oil Rig Worker
Oil rig workers are the people who work in offshore oil rigs to maintain them. They are responsible for the maintenance of equipment, such as pumps, valves and pipelines. They also maintain the equipment and structures on a rig.
Oil rig workers must be qualified to work at an offshore oil rig. This qualification is called an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) certification or a similar qualification. In India, this certificate is not mandatory but it helps in getting better jobs with higher payscales.

Oil Rig Workers are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of oil rigs. They are required to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have to be available for emergency situations. They also have to maintain records of equipment, tools and supplies that are used by the rig.
